The location offered easy access to local attractions, making our brief stay enjoyable. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service during our time there. We also appreciated the nice design of the Queen Room with Two Queen Beds, which added to our comfort.

I adored the charming vintage decor throughout the hotel. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere made it easy to relax. The staff were exceptionally attentive, always willing to assist with my needs, which truly enhanced my comforting experience as a senior traveler.

More accessible bathroom options would be appreciated.

    unique atmosphere
    friendly staff
    comfy beds
    weak internet
    missing amenities
    high parking fee

I found Abacus to be a unique spot with a great atmosphere. The retro decor caught my eye right away. It felt welcoming, making me comfortable right from the get-go. The location was perfect for exploring Athens, being close to coffee shops and restaurants. I really enjoyed grabbing a morning coffee at the little coffee shop on site. However, I ran into some trouble with the internet connection during my stay, which made it tough to get some work done. Also, I expected more from the room amenities given the price point. The lack of a microwave and the $12 parking fee felt a bit excessive, especially since there wasn’t a big event happening. Overall, I liked the vibe but thought some improvements could be made with the facilities.

A Memorable Stay with Great Amenities!

Our family stay exceeded expectations with friendly staff and a surprise $10 store credit. The lobby's decor added charm, and the fluffy towels made our experience cozy. A tip, enjoy the shuttle service for quick access to downtown attractions. Minor mishaps were swiftly resolved, ensuring our comfort!

    eclectic decor
    comfortable beds
    southern breakfast
    lack of children's activities

We had a fantastic stay close to the University of Georgia campus. The eclectic decor made our family feel at home, and the comfy beds were a blessing after long days of exploring. The kids loved the southern breakfast options at the on-site restaurant!

My kids wished there were more activities for little ones to enjoy. A small play area or game room would have been fantastic for families.

    Charming decor but maintenance issues

The hotel has a unique and charming vintage decor that creates a welcoming atmosphere. However, my stay was marred by maintenance issues, such as a malfunctioning air conditioning unit and a bathroom light that needed repair. While the staff was friendly, the lack of attention to detail regarding room upkeep held the experience back.

Grabbed some homemade pasta at a local spot that was pure fire! Plus, the staff were super friendly, making the vibe really chill. Oh, and the pool? It was open until 9 PM! Perfect for a night dip after exploring.

The outside of the property looked a bit tired, needing some TLC with paint and wash. Inside, the rooms had a dark vibe with a few dusty corners and a stubborn A/C that didn't chill as well as it should.

The Queen Room was super cozy! Loved the vintage decor, really gave a charming vibe. The beds were comfy, making it easy to crash after exploring the area. Bathroom toiletries were nice too. Just a heads up, the room could use a bit more light, felt a little dim. Overall, a cute spot to stay!

My friends and I had an awesome time during our stay! The location is perfect, making it easy to visit incredible spots like the University of Georgia and Sanford Stadium. The eclectic decor added so much character, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. It's a cozy, clean spot that felt like a great find!

The only downside was that parking could be a bit of a challenge, as some areas felt a bit tricky to access.
